Genre: Indie Rock
The boy/girl harmonies of Ryff and Lee are authentic and dreamy. Combined with the strong, guitar-driven indie-pop sound and catchy verb baselines, RACES consumes an unidentifiable space that melts energetic texture into the backdrop of psych-rock. Tracks such “Lies,” “Song Of Birds” and “The Knife” from this debut LP merge classic style and progressive tones to celebrate the bands ’70s and ’90s influences.
FCC clean
1. (1.26) - a short one-and-a-half-minute intro song
*2. (3.15) - you’d like a cup of morning coffee, sweet, meandering
3. (4.32) - melancholy, mid-tempo, relaxed man vocal
*4. (3.49) - slow-tempo, kinda dreamy vocal, lighthearted mood
5. (5.00) - slow-tempo, sad, lazy, bittersweet
6. (4.22) - slow-tempo, mellow, slightly melancholy, dreamy
7. (4.58) - subtle, yearning, sexy vocal, slow tempo and then a sudden burst into a faster pace.
8. (3.37) - mainly female vocal, slow-tempo, bittersweet, slightly melancholy
9. (4.48) - double vocal lines, delightful, mid-tempo, sweet melody
*10. (3.49) - delightful intro, mid-tempo, charming melody, repetitive lyrics
11. (1.31) - ambient, dreamy, suddenly stop at the end
