Power pop side project by the prolific Ben Cook, whos worked with bands such as Fucked Up, The Bitters, No Warning, Violent Minds, and others. Melds elements of garage rock, punk, and indie punk to form his signature power pop sound.
FCC Clean. Recommended: A1, A2
A1: Huge sounding production with some nice guits and machine gun drums. Pop punk vocals with an enormous chorus. Quite uplifting.
A2: Nice shakers and pounding drum beat, makes you wanna get up n dance! Pretty surfy sounding, real nice vocal harmonies.
B1: tremolo guitars with some gated drums n heavy vocal processing. Sounds a overwrought, not really digging this.
B2: More summery, conventional pop. Clap yo hands, kids! Sounding a bit like Bob Dylan on here. Pretty bland n cheesy, stick with the a-side.
