Milwaukee-based band laying out some big, big funky blues w/ some R ‘n’ B and serious soul. Horns, B3, killer bass (by Howlin’ Wolf’s grandson Donnie Mac) and percussion and some solid vocals. Top-notch stuff throughout on this, their 2nd album. No FCC’s.

*My Favorites*: 1, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10.

1. *(3:30) Mid. Big, upbeat brass, big beat, bright piano, guitar.
2. (5:32) Mid. Funky walk, steady beat, nice guitar, percussion.
3. *(5:54) Slow / Mid. Strong vocal showcase, swirling B3, easy beat, sweet guitar.
4. *(5:31) Mid. Big, big intro. Funky strut, horns ablaze, bass solo, kick-ass wah-wah.
5. (3:05) Mid. Plodding beat w/ guitar leads, B3, hip bass.
6. (3:21) Slow / Mid. Nice and easy ballad with sax and guitar predominating.
7. (3:55) Mid. Suave vocal intro. Upbeat w/ upfront percussion, big horns. A bit of Santana.
8. *(4:18) Mid. B3 and bass workout w/ solid beat and subdued guitar. Big vocal.
9. *(3:38) Mid. Drivin’ and rockin’, killer bass, kickin’ bass drum.
10. *(4:24) Mid. James Brown classic ‘Sex Machine’. Nice, strong rendition, w/ a great spoken break - killer.
