Cosmic trippy folk pop. “Freak folk” with plenty of classic rock influence and distant, heavily reverbed vocals. Mostly relaxed, tuneful stuff that’s a little bit indulgent (in the best way) and warped by plenty of psychedelic drugs in their blood (at least once upon a time). MV+EE are Matt Valentine and Erika Elder. RIYL Neil Young, Woods, Wooden Wand, Hans Chew. FCCs on track 4.

1. Almost inaudible instrumental. (1:17)
2. Harvest-era Neil Young inspired, really pleasant warped folk pop. (4:30)
*3. Blazed, chill, sticky pleasant harmonies and not a care in the world. (3:07)
4. Multiple FCCs, sounds like Chappelle’s Show a little. (2:50)
5. Slow, very relaxed with bendy slide guitars/effects, farm animals on drugs, nice backing harmonies. (4:39)
*6. Blissful astral melodic layered acoustic haze. (2:07)
7. Majority of song is overdriven, loud guitar solo that’s a little cheesy. (4:08)
*8. Accessible classic rock-ish tuneful folk jam. Fans of My Morning Jacket and Wilco will dig it. (6:45)
9. Dream-like, hallucinogenic, cut-up jam. Weird stuff turns into feedback folk melancholy. (7:57)
