Album Review

A new Flaming Lips collaboration with various artists. It's all over the place, even by Flaming Lips standards.

FCC (shit, fuck) at beginning, careful. Starts robotically (You must be upgraded) Features Ke$ha
FCC (fucked up throughout) Bon Iver helps out with ethereal vocals.
 * Sounds like a track from the Yoshimi era. Sweet and Dulcet. Funny track name.
 Noisy and frantic.
We're going to climb to the moooooooooooooon. Wayne Coyne's classic falsetto is abundant here.
Heavy bass and bells. Voices are almost drowned out.
Haha, it's like a motivational speaker took some mushrooms and is trying to lead his congregation to a new land. The ravings of an insane individual set to Flaming Lips style instrumentals.
 * See ya, Space Cowboy. Working at NASA on acid has its advantages. Honky Tonk guitar with spacy vocals. Long fadeout
Do it! Lots of potential energy at the beginning. Are they going to do it? Yoko Ono is almost as weird as the Flaming Lips.
Sounds like a squawking robot parrot nearing death. Electronic beeps begin sounding like a heart monitor.
Long track. I wish it developed more than it does.
 * Track, you're so weird. Slow with minimalist vocals. Then in the final minute it switches gears. Sounds like an air raid siren playing and the tempo goes faster. The vocals become garbled and distorted.
A spoken word story of a musician running from the cops and getting tasered and maced. A nice way to end this bizarre album.
