One of those wonderful “music of the world” releases. Sometimes dark or moody, other times lively and warm. She’s from Norway but her range of folk tunes range from Celtic to Asian and even flirts a bit with jazz. She plays a mean fiddle and also has a great voice, though mostly the tracks are amazing instrumental. Every track worth a play.

1. Instantly and insistently fast jam that changes tempo mid song.
2. Mid/up Celtic-infused folk dance. A total toe-tapper.
3. Slow vocals like a sad Irish story song then a duet. So good!
4. Mid/up fiddle/perc showcase, slows a bit when vocals join in.
5. Slow and moving with a tragic feeling & a hint of the medieval.
6. Mid/up Irish folk dance with a sitting in a pub feeling.
7. Tabla, male chanting. Slow, very quiet at times w/Indian sound.
8. Mostly upbeat slip jig w/plenty of style & a great arrangement.
9. Fiddles start upbeat then it gets faster w/a cool dirty rock sound.
10. Relaxed and then slows down with a Norway meets India mix
11. Slow strings, a haunting and lyrical hymn. Just lovely.
