The Dicks’ first LP is a top-notch hardcore punk gem. Finally back in print after 20 years of lingering in obscurity, the infamous Texan “commie faggot” band can be heard at the top of their form. Bonus tracks consist of the legendary “Hate the Police” EP that first ensured their place in punk rock Valhalla. Their dark, blues-rock swagger and Gary Floyd’s flamingly irreverent vocals make up one of the most unique sounds in punk. This is a classic album, and your life is incomplete until you play it.
Play any track, but only 2, 10, and 12 (instrumental) are FCC clean; 6 technically has no FCCs, but it’s about licking little boys’ feet.
2. *(2:27) Classic, killer punk rock riff! Slices through all society’s pretense with a sharp blade of vitriol.
