Downtown Party Network: The Machine Man Label: Best Kept Secret The name of the artist says it all - it's a party downtown and you're invited. These are two of the sweetest little instrumental disco/house tracks you'll ever hear. Eminently listenable, funky, stripped-down, simple and lovely.The Downtown Party Network are Saulty and Bradka from Vilnius, Lithuania (who knew they had a house-music scene there?). I can't wait to hear more from these guys. You can't go wrong with either of the tracks, I love them both. 1. Simply yummy funky instrumental disco. Smooth synths, a funky analog bassline, a sweet little piano loop, some hand claps & background party-talk. Can't go wrong with this much sweet goodness. 2. Such delicious stripped-down groovy downtempo-house track with a lovely synth melody and some analog loops thrown in. Wonderfully listenable and a gentle head-nodder. Love it!
