Artist: Icky Blossoms Album: Icky Blossoms
Reviewed 10/28'12 by Rex
Genre: Dance, Synth-pop, dreamy indie pop
An electropop trio formed in Omaha, Nebraska in 2011, bringing together singer/synth player Sarah Bohling, singer/multi-instrumentalists Derek Pressnall, and Nik Fackler (director of the Independent Spirit nominated Lovely, Still); who became acquainted through the Omaha arts scene and Pressnall's sidebands Tilly and the Wall and Flowers Forever.
Strong, sharp and unusual. The euphoric melodies draw you in and keep you there from start to finish.
FCC 3
**1. Heat Lightning(4.32)- mesmerized female vocal, clever mix, catchy, danceable, youthful
