Handmade instruments out of recycled materials make for some
unusual funky sounds. The musicians are shepherds from the
landlocked Kingdom of Lesotho located in the middle of South
Africa. All tracks are interesting thinking about their homemade
instruments.
1: 1:28 bowed strings, whistles, dog bark and vocal wails
***2: 3:29 mellow, faster with great call & response male vocals
3: 4:26 mid to faster, vocal wails with chorus
4: 1:55 slow to mid tempo A CAPPELLA
5: 3:43 mid tempo, vocal chorus with mostly strummed & bowed strings
**6: 3:49 mid tempo INSTRUMENTAL
7: 2:35 mid tempo bowed strings and vocals
**8: 2:49 mid tempo A CAPPELLA
9: 4:11 mid to faster vocals and strummed strings long fade at end
10: 4:00 mid tempo strummed strings and vocals
11: 5:06 mid to faster, chants, wails, instruments
12: 1:24 interlude, collage of sounds, whistles, chants & instruments.
