The third release from Argentinian electronic label Krill Music. This digital 12” pairs the relentless pounding of German techno producer Henning Baer (a relative newcomer on the rise thanks to his blossoming Grounded Theory Berlin project) and the spacey intricacy of Italian-born Pasquale Ascione on the flip.
1. Massive techno single with distinctive Berlin aesthetics: grueling, grinding bass, erratic synth pulses, and abrasive high hats – the sounds of industry.
2. Suspenseful, and atmospheric, with a delicate stutterstep gently nudging the track forward. Layered with effervescent chimes and tortuously looped piano samples. Challenging on first listen but immensely rewarding.
3. Argentinian producer Pfirter goes to work remixing Ascion’s side, beefing up the bass and adding murky, chthonic synth lines.
