A singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Mali. Based on “Sahel Folk” (a Malian folk style) and backed by a quintet. It’s sparse and deceptively simple but also rich and warm. I can’t tell if it’s a woman w/a high voice or a child singing on these tracks. But it’s ccool.

*2. Uptempo, bright, driving and sunny. (4:44)
3. More relaxed light per, nice guitar, vocals. (5:50)
*4. Super cool upbeat Afro folk/funk call-response. (5:44)
5. Mid/uptempo, lightly bouncy and sweet. (5:06)
6. Slow w/that cool kinda nasally voice. Picks up some.(7:52)
7. Upbeat w/percussive interplay w/ voice & strings/perc (4:33)
*8.Slow w/soaring vocals, simple, almost hypnotic (5:22)
9. A definite blues influenced midtempo bounce. (4:22)
