Elize: Blonde Ambition Unpleased Records
Elize's EP "Blonde Ambition" is kind of a fun 3-track EP. There is some nice & funky material. The last two tracks lean towards the dubbed-out stoner side, while track #1 is a nice little dirty-disco number. I think the winner is #1 "Blonde Ambition" for sure.
1) "Blonde Ambition" 6:02 - Dirty disco heavy on the electronics, warbled male vocals and a big funky analog bassline that makes this track quite tasty & groovy.
2) "Feel Like Doin'" 7:16 - A head-nodding dubbed-out downtempo house track with breathy female vox and a chorus "feel like doin... so let me go".
3) "Last Dance" 6:18 - Straight house that's about 115-118 bpm, moody and yet kinda funky.
