Rob Paine & Someone Else: Steady Burn Label: Worship

This is a nice roots-reggae house single that I think makes people look forward to the complete album to be released in 2013. The main track features some nice positive work by Leon Phillpotts, lead singer of the roots-reggae band Iron. Rob Paine lays out the main track that is a very good house track, with plenty of elements for the remixers to work with. Of note, the RP dub is probably the best one on this release, but all the versions are pretty cool and if you're in the mood for reggae-inspired house music, give them a try.

1. Thumpin' house with congas. Slammin' straight up roots-reggae house
2. Stripped-down remix with cool little siren tones
3. I like the electro tones on this stripped-down analog-flavored remix
4. Dubbed-out house mix with just some choral vocal parts and really cool effects
5. A lot like #4, but with a chunkier & techy beat and more analog effects
6. An instrumental version of #1, primarily made just for the dancefloor action
