A set of originals by alto sax Manricks joined by David Weiss on trumpet, Adam Rogers (guitar), Sam Yahel (organ), and Matt Wilson (drums). Modern with a touch of mainstream mixed in. All characterized by tight arrangements and solid playing throughout. There’s a fun sense of unpredictability throughout that keeps it all fresh, lively, and colorful.

*1. Vibrant and warm mid/uptempo urban modern bop.
*2. Slow, a moody, tragic Finnish folk tune. Sad but lovely.
3. Warm midtempo flow w/smooth B2 and quirky sax.
4. Quirky, halting intro then a swinging midtempo mélange.
*5. Mostly midtempo w/some great solos from all.
6. Slow and moody w/nice solos from sax, trumpet.
7. Manricks goes solo and shows great technique. Mostly mid.
*8. Nice mid/upbeat tune where Rogers’ guitar work shines.
9. A downtempo, meandering tune. Gentle & quiet but w/power.
