Cameroonian born, a multi-instrumental sax player. A nice mix of traditional African instrument and rhythms and a contemporary jazz mix. Nicely done. The interest lies mainly in the trafe offs betten the traditional and the modern.
*1. Sweet, upbeat blend of kora and percussion.
*2. Lightly upbeat with some great percussion an strings. Very cool.
3. Swaying and light, midtempo w/an urban sax feel.
4. Mid/up, a nicely swaying, sunny feel.
*5.Cool Afro-funk vibe with some good solos.
*6. Hot percussion and some happening brass.
*7. Like an African bazaar, midtempo w/style.
*8. A vocal track, more jazzy than African. Upbeat w/hot B3 breaks.
9. Spoken work intro, mid/upbeat lots of percussion & vocal trills
10. Urban sophistication overlaid with African folk hints.
