Great collection of both fuzzed-out driving garage-psych unintelligible yelpfests and slowed-down loud introspective tracks from SF and KZSU faves. Mostly a John Dwyer solo album (as quite a few of the albums in their discography are) with lots of experimentation going on. Wide variety of consistently great stuff here, and all of it is well-deserving of airplay. Guest appearances by cello, flute, viola, saxophone, trumpet, Brigid Dawson (Oh Sees), Heidi Alexander (Sandwitches), Mikal Cronin (Ty Segall band), K. Dylan Edrich, and Chris Woodhouse (co-producer). No FCCs detected.

**1 (4:01) Great fucking driving bassline, slamming drums, crunching guitars, falsetto vox; wouldn't have guessed this wasn't the touring lineup
*2 (3:55) Rhythmic, hazy, tons of harmonies, stony
*3 (3:53) Slow and sticky, almost calm, wild variety of instruments and ridiculous intelligible vocals; fades into 4
4 (1:46) Great fucking instrumental electronic coda to 3; buzzing, whirring, occasionally screeching; blissed out
*5 (2:32) Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba, perfectly done fuzzy garage pop
*6 (6:11) Slower, heavy, evolving; alternates focus between crushing guitars and bizarre vox; fucking awesome final minute- guitar feedback or flute (?) takes over
**7 (5:24) La la la's for this more downtempo piece. Fuzz, distortion, harmonies, everything blends into everything else, led forward by light but sharp drumming
***8 (3:29) Fuuuuck yeah electro-organ starts and fuses perfectly with motorik beat & fuzzy, screeching, whirring guitars, and calm harmonies; looks like this one is a concert staple for at least a while
9 (3:28) Shades of Castlemania show up; viola, uncharacteristically deep vox, 60s California pop vibe; final minute is of train and birds
10 (2:09) Slow psychy, sounds like a lullaby composed by Syd Barrett
