Deep house and ramblings. Pachanga Boys are Superpitcher and Rebolledo of Kompakt and general fame. Together, they make music that varies from extraordinarily beautiful deep house to gimmicky sound clips and interludes. This is a little of both. Somewhat disappointing, but a few good moments on there. Give this a shot if you like Kompakt and/or silly dance music.
Try: 7, 8, 12, 15
FCC: Clean

1) 2:23 Long, steadily increasing pitch and stale, electronic drums in the background.
2) 1:16 Electronic voice explains what “Pachanga” means. Xylophones, too.
3) 7:09 Steady house foundation, groovy percussion. Haunting echoes of “Pachanga.” Either really sad or hysterical. Doesn’t go anywhere.
4) 1:09 Another childish/spoken word interlude about the simple things in life.
5) 3:18 Handclaps and encouragements to “dance!” Nothing else.
6) 1:05 Another short story about the Pachanga Boys.
7) 7:21 * An ode to speedos and boots. Drums and flat, spoken vocals gradually add more layers. Silly and cool. Brief pause at 5 minutes.
8) 4:35 * Haunting paranoia synthesizer builds and builds. Water running somewhere in the background.
9) 1:27 Sounds like a recording from a pet shop. Strange stuff.
10) 7:17 Grunge-ish guitars meet a bouncy house groove. Playful synths and dark vibes.
11) 1:50 Another street recording of some sorts. Faint music playing.
12) 6:16 * Retro synthesizers in a slow and repetitive jam. Mysterious, haunting synthscapes in the background.
13) 3:14 Experimental bleeps and blops. Long intro to another spoken interlude about why girls should pick Pachangas.
14) 5:27 Robotic electro jam. Slight return to the clapping and dancing with a little extra electronics.
15) 5:21 * Slow, friendly grooves. Neon Indian, westerns, and deep house biscuits.
