RonKat Spearman and KatDelic: "Dance On The Mothership (D.O.T.M.S.) -- Protege of George Clinton, and member of the P-Funk AllStars, RonKat delivers his debut CD, as somewhat of a tribute to his mentor. Very FUNKAY!!! KatDelic often performs at the Boom Boom Room, and other Bay Area venues.

Personal Faves: 3, 14, 12, 9, 2, 1, 6, 13, -- Sunshine, January 2013

**** 1 –“Oh Hi” -- Intense, funkified but spacey greeting – “Oh Hi” -- to open up the album, and thrust you skyward. (5:17)
**** 2 –“D.O.T.M.S.” – Title track, boarding the Mothership. Robotic vocals, then harmony. Upbeat funk. (5:55)
*****+ 3—“The One” – My personal FAVORITE!!! Total Funk. Absolutely Impossible to stand still. (3:49)
*** 4 – “Rockin” – Starts like a choir. Then gets “70s rockish. (4:28)
*** 5 – “Change Generation” – Also rocks. A bit like Led Zeppelin. (3:59)
**** 6 – “My IntelliGian” – Harmonious vocals open it. Then funks up. Rufus-like, or Isleys. (4:55)
*** 7 – “Love Thyself” – Combination of folk and modern Dixieland. Somewhat schlocky. (4:52)
*** 8 – “I’ll Wait” – Nice horns. A little sappy compared to other tracks. Lovey-dovey, with a Tijuana Brass beat. Soulful harmony. (4:30)
***** 9 – “Keep On Looking” – Funky love song. Movin’ groovin’. (6:27)
**** 10 – “GLOW” – Great beatz, guitar. Funky but mellow. Soulful harmonious vocals. (5:24)
*** 11—“She’s Fire” – Rockish. Loud. Guitar sears toward middle. Somewhat repetitive. (4:28)
***** 12 – “Here and Now” – Spooky opening. Creepy sound effects. Funky. Very reminiscent of P-Funk. Horns! (4:46)
**** 13 – “Drive Away” – Calm rhythm builds into a journey. Inspirational harmonies. (4:02)
***** 14 – “Mackin With No Hands” – Definite P-Funk groove. Horns. (5:17)
*** 15 – “All Is All” – Hyper and chaotic. (3:09)
*** 16 – “Peace To You” – Comparatively calm and mellow. Does not sound like the rest of the album at all. Very mellow and kind-hearted. Showcases vocals. Almost would be a good song for a funeral. (4:04)
