V/A: Soniculture Confidential 002 Label: Soniculture
The Soniculture Confidential experiment continues with three anonymous tracks by anonymous producers. The last Soniculture release was full of electro-tech and acid, and this release continues in that vein. As always they save the hardest acid-house track for last, and that's the phenomenal B2. All three tracks are fantastic, don't miss a single beat here. Try them all.
1. A1: Dark & mysterious acid-flavored minimal house that changes intensity halfway through and gets meatier once the hi-hats kick in.
2. B1: Techno banger that's reminds you of the olden days. Nervous & twitchy, with crisp hi-hats and a driving bass, twisted little percussive tones.
3. B2: Holy moly dark & twisted acid here. This stuff just grinds and grinds at you, but the bassline and punchy buildup is solid & hard-hitting.
