AVANT GARDE JAZZ / EXPERIMENTAL

Weird but sometimes interesting chaos with two trombones, bass, a theremin, and voices.

No FCC issues.

1 Just a trombone blast. (0:08)
2 * Fast, free jazz. Harsh but interesting. Mostly trombones with grunts & noises. (4:20)
3 * Very slow. A neo-Classical duet for string bass & theremin. Pleasing at times. (5:59)
4 * Mid-tempo. List of >200 music genre names spoken over noisy accompaniment. (5:50)
5 Slow. One trombone is down low like a hippo; the other is up high, muted. (4:43)
6 Very slow. Nearly silent for 0:20 to start. Scary movie background. Noise. (7:26)
7 Very slow. True to the title, it’s lots of mouth sounds. Very strange. (4:25)
8 Very slow. A silly trombone, more mouth sounds, banging. (8:00)
9 Mid-tempo. Passable as jazz. Two trombones & string bass. (4:27)
10 Spoken-word story, told with faux hick accent, about a stripper. Just stupid. (3:49)
11 Very slow. Glissando all up & down the slide; spacey theremin. Gutteral voices. (8:19)
