You should be familiar with the classic funky loop used on this joint. Producer Madwreck flips ‘Donny Hathaway’s ‘Vegetable Wagon (1972) popularized by ‘Pudgee Tha Fat Bastard’s’ ‘Think Big’ track (1995). Madwreck speeds up the loop just as in the Pudgee track and lays down some nice throwback vibes with current lyrical flows. Dope track. – M-SMOOTH

Madwreck brings back the funk with some fly bass, horn stabs, and the ultimate wah-wah guitar straight outta the soundtrack for Shaft. As you may have guessed from the title, Silent Knight is concerned with the real seat of political power: currency. Unlike most rappers on the subject, Knight explores the merits of frugality and supporting your local independent convenience store. Now that's a message I can get behind! Clean.
