Debut from Vancouver B.C. band playing mostly peppy, indie pop/rock w/ Beatles, ’60’s/’70’s psyche-y, folky, Iron & Wine, Wilco, The Band, etc. vibes. All original material. Guitar, bass, drums, keys, sax, solid lyrics. Some really fine and fun stuff here. No FCC’s.
*My Favorites*: All.
1. (1:41) Slow / Mid. About 5 silent sec to begin then very Beatlesish vibe.
2. (2:54) Mid. Happy, upbeat jangly vibe.
3. (4:00) Slow / Mid. Mellow start, bass, then band, a bit trippy, and hip.
4. (2:32) Mid. A bit of Wilco, George Harrison thing going on - cool.
5. (3:25) Mid / Fast. Slight prog feel, surfy, jazzy, great lyrics, killer.
6. (3:22) Slow / Mid. False start then sparse gtr, then band, folky ditty about L.A.
7. (2:46) Mid / Fast. Late Beatles vibe, stop/starts, w/ tambourine, back vcls.
8. (3:36) Mid. More late Beatles, Wilco w/ cowbell, killer plodding gtr.
9. (2:38) Mid. Catchy, upbeat vibe w/ solid harmonica fills.
10. (4:17) Slow / Mid. Mellow dirge-ish w/ great gtr.
11. (3:23) Mid. Rockin’ w/ Chuck Berry vibe, killer w/ sax.
12. (3:16) Slow. Mellow sparse w/ tambourine, bass.
