Treatments of simple music, pop, 60’s retro nods, even spacey guitar playing (bordering on what was once called “new age” in the Windham Hill realm), pop and electronica elements, all mashed in strange ways to make some seriously interesting stuff. On the Warp label: doesn’t betray that fact for a good 7 tracks in, then it all falls into place. This is great stuff. Not sure how else to describe it. Will appeal to pop fans to tripped out weirdness ones as well.

1) (2:57) like an Eno/Windham Hill “new age” guitar sonata fed through effect
2) (5:26) guitar and vocs, upbeat and twangy though it seems so stripped down, lovely
3) (2:10) beautiful treated guitar, wow
4) (5:39) swaying echo’ey cheesy pop with cool noise
5) (4:10) cheesy pop ratchets up a bit, avoid
6) (3:16) pleasant instrumental, would make Windham Hill proud
7) (5:29) very strange, almost sample art treated pop, huh? Twisted and cool, now the Warp Records appears in full force
8) (4:09) 60’s flared guitar pop, retro cheesy but not, cool shit for sure
9) (7:38) starts with found sounds, picks up a Warp experimental electronic tone for sure, awesome
10) (5:00) a blippy traditional old analog moog feel for first 2 minutes, then picks up a really catchy toe tapping 80’s irrepressible beat that devolves into an outro chill
11) (3:04) upbeat guitar arpeggio pop to end this, pretty
