JAZZY BEATS (FUNKY JAZZY INSTRUMENTAL)
Keyboardist Aja West (founder of Mackrosoft Records) now leads a group called The Mackrosoft: a big ensemble with reeds, horns, guitar, multiple keyboards, you name it. All the tracks are good – you may just want to choose one for its length.

Instrumental. No FCC issues.

1 * Mid-tempo. Lots of funk & swing. Sax lead (mostly); organ; bass & drum beat. (2:52)
2 ** Mid-tempo title track. Soul jazz with mellow trombone, saxes, organ. Love it! (7:14)
3 Mid-tempo. A funky improv groove that doesn’t find its way into a song. (6:03)
4 * Slower, soulful. Sax, electric piano, guitar, groovy sounds, electronic beats. (3:50)
5 * Faster, harder. Fuzzy, bendy electric guitar, electric piano, organ. More beats. (4:59)
6 Mid-tempo. Multiple keys, heavy bass, clarinet and/or soprano sax, a nice flute. (4:40)
7 * Mid-fast “Shaft” like groove. Sounds like a movie theme. Flute leads the way. (3:16)
8 * Very fast. Soulful jazz with much rhythm. Sax, organ, guitar, bass, drums. (3:52)
