The Noise You Need: synth based compositions, looped, repetitive, build into sublime washes of distortion. Lovely. Like Nadja or Sujo without the guitar bass or drums. See also: Wolf Eyes, Mindflayer, Earth or Sunn ((O))) through a distortion box (yes, you read right). I’m partial to “narcotic drone” noise and theres a few in here that qualify.

1) (9:37) slow to build, pulsing pulse waves, almost 4 minutes in layers of nice fuzz appear, lovely
2) (6:05) freq/amp modulated tones, pulsing, become distorted, The Noise You Need
3) (8:28) cool searing synth tones, playing octaves, rich and fuzzy, almost guitar-like (wait, is this actually all guitar)
4) (5:03) like a 180 bpm techno craze gone haywire through a transmitter failure
5) (7:39) droney, beautiful distorto wash that evolves through moods, nice
6) (5:24) almost melodic, songlike, like chord changes through the fuzz
7) (16:54) a pulsing synth thing, kinda kraftwerky, but low fi track ends after 5:11 i.e. 11:42 remaining, then with 9:32 remaining an electronic buzzing, industrial noise appears and lasts the remaining 7 minutes or so
