Gulivert: Seven Wonders EP Label: Catwash Records

This is a fantastic 4-track EP!!!! Gulivert is a Parisian DJ/producer who has worked with the likes of DJ W!LD, Gauthier DM, Chris Carrier & Phil Weeks. Clearly he specializes in producing incredibly catchy house with groovy licks that grabs you and locks you into the dance floor. The title track (#1 - "Seven Wonders") on the EP is a fantastic house track on its own. But Gulivert unabashedly samples 3 hot pop classics (Neneh Cherry, Whitney Houston, and Wang Chung) and turns them into slammin' house tracks with retro flair (tracks #2,3,4). Don't miss a single beat of this EP, all tracks are winners. Enjoy!

1. "Seven Wonders" (7:26) - Super-catchy house track that builds up steadily with catchy synth melodies and a sexy little vocal loop. A big payoff about 2/3rds of the way through with a big warm synth break. Nice!
2. "Money Man" (6:34) - Wow! Really groovy house with an incredibly catchy melody that's sampled from Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance". Cheerful, playful, lively, retro, and HOT!
3. "Look at Me" (7:24) - Slammin'! Bangin' techy house beats, warbly effect that comes in & out. The middle of the track features a tiny bit of sampled vocals from Whitney Houston. Probably the best dance track that's ever featured Whitney's voice.
4. "Dance All Days" (8:25) - The 80s live on! Wang Chung's "Dance Hall Days" is featured prominently in this retro 80s dance-pop song, all techno-fied into a slammin' modern club track.
