Drumcell: Disturbance EP Label: CLR
This is an incredible EP featuring four versions of Drumcell's latest track, "Disturbance". The original itself is a very dark techno track that is industrial in nature, and it's quite excellent. Then there are two techno mixes done by the same guy but very different in tone - one is more psychedlic, the other is more percussive. The last track is purely industrial. All tracks are fantastic. Try them all!
1. (Original version) (6:23) - Dark techno. Big thumping broken-beats, quasi-industrial vibe with twisted analog warbling.
2. (Pfirter Remix 1) (9:24) - Incredible remix! Slowly builds up intensity as the analog/acid gets more insistent - then peaks in this crescendo of snare drums at around 4 minutes in. This will blow minds.
3. (Pfirter Remix 2) (7:11) - Percussive, thumping remix. This goes in a completely different direction. Brutally hard-hitting relentless beats, with a manic acidic crescendo about 2/3rds of the way through.
4. (Tommy Four Seven Remix) (5:48) - Noisy and industrial remix that is much slower. Dark & sinister ambience, and hard-crushing mechanical beats & sounds. Definitely one for the goth/industrial set.
