Indie psych pop rock w/ a decidedly British feel and retro gaze. Lots of layered electric guitars, phaser effects, apathetic 90s musings, non-singer nasally vocals. Well-produced yet lyrics, vocals, swagger contribute to an off-the-cuff feel. RIYL: Brian Jonestown Massacre, Spacemen 3 “pop” songs, Dandy Warhols, generation X, Sic Alps, Galaxie 500 (sans vox).
*1. Mid-tempo pop song. Hummable, not exactly anthemic, but accessible. (3:53)
2. Cheerier but w/ spoken-sung feel, “lesbian wife.” (2:57)
3. Story about 1993, organs, mid-tempo with lots of vocals. (3:35)
*4. Almost a surf feel. Rockin’ Ty Segall choice. (3:49)
