Headboggle / Vibrating Garbage (Turmeric Magnitudes)

Split tape from two San Francisco avant-garde heavyweights. Headboggle is all over the place with his beeping blooping madness, while Vibrating Garbage (a side project of Greg Garbage; see also Esther Chlorine, Black Thread) describes itself as “junk noise”… pretty great stuff for late at night, or even the morning, provided you don’t have a hangover. Not so much abrasive as it is just wholly engrossing.

1. (18:33) Headboggle: wonky beeping loops, bubbling static, occasional noisy beats and vocal screeches, 18.5 minutes of pure awesome
2. (19:55) VB: rolling waves of hallucinogenic white noise and semi-percussive rumblings
