Album Review
The Grunt

Beautiful Entrancing Funeral Doom from Seattle. Two guys, drummer and a 5-string bassist. Think of Om (2/3's of Sleep) from a more metal perspective. Gorgeous slow stuff. Saw them live and they killed it. Cathartic. All songs are great, play any of them, no FCCs detected.

1.) > > > Slooowwww 50bpm then down to ~30bpm. So melancholy and beautiful. Growls and clean singing.
2.) > > > A little more emotional sounding. Guy from Aerial Ruin is singing cleanly. 50bpm up to 60bpm when growls start
3.) Very slow 30bpm. Clean vocals only. Mellow and beautiful.
4.) One bass chord every 10 seconds or so. Film dialogue sample in the middle. No drums / beat. Sparse.
5.) > > > Somehow this song feels the most intense. Heavy heavy heavy.
6.) Sad and slow bass-only.
