(I wrote this before reading the one-sheet and learning that this is Kathleen Hannah’s (Bikini Kill) latest project/release). X-Ray Specs meets Bikini Kill and The Cars in Phil Spector’s blood splattered rumpus room. Bratty sassy female vocals front irreverent if glammy and slick urgent rock that brings to mind Electroclash of ten years past, punk, glam, new wave and even Motown (huh?) of decades gone. Wacky take no prisoners in your face. Great stuff if a little derivative. WATCH ALL THE FCCS.
