Pleasant summery chill-wave dream pop. Think reverb, languorous vocals, and extended guitar segments. At times it seems almost a little too steeped in reverb, never able to pick up and surprise. I have to say though the band does a good job of creating a shimmering and layered wash of sound. No FCCs. Related artists/releases: Basically everything on Captured Tracks, Wild Nothing, Beach Fossils, DIIV, Washed Out, Real Estate, Ducktails 1. (3:30) Manipulated sampled vocals from a guided meditation tape, then kicks in with a hip hop-ish drums and layers of reverb and ambience. Cool. 2. (3:11) * Nice mid-tempo sunny pop song. Builds momentum with cool beat and longing vocals. Probably my favorite track on here. 3. (5:38) * Laid back and beachy with echo laden vocals. Long guitar jam at the end. 4.
