Kid Karate- Lights Out EP
Label: self-release
Latest release from Kid Karate (Kevin Breen and Steven Gannon) out of Dublin. Rock with lots of guitar riffing, kick drumming, and vocal howling. A good time for all parties involved. All the tracks are good, but favorites are 1 and 3. Sounds like Death from Above 1979, The White Stripes, perhaps The Rapture. FCC clean

2. (4:34) Synths! ‘Lectric guitars, hi hats and melancholy. Heartless vocals.
*3. (3:39) Poppier with bass and driving guitars, alongside varying angry/stoic vocals. I like this one a lot.
(2:23) Yelling with driving guitars. Big drums again. ARG!!!!
