This is the Swedish bands second release and has been receiving some pretty good reviews. Certainly an attempt at a revival of the late 70’s, early 80’s Post Punk / Goth era. They remind me more of The Skids, The Mission (UK) & All About Eve. “Pop Punk” done pretty well. I am sure this will find a place on KZSU. All tracks much of a muchness: Grizzerly vocals, driving drums, poppy chorus, synth lines & whirling guitars.
3 & 7 slightly as standing out for me.
No detectable FCC’s

1) A Sacred State: (3.57) Great intro that promises much, then driving drumming leading to poppy chorus.
2) Flesh And Bone (4.11) Following on from previous track, nice use of synths.
3) Meditations (2.48) Trade mark pounding drumming, nice guitar work.
4) Ättestupa (3:33) More poppy than the rest.
5) Luminous (3.05) Upbeat track, like the others.
6) Rush (4.19) Nice use of reverb & echo to change it up slightly.
7) Wolves (3.30) Slowing it down, still with a driving edge to it.
8) Laughter Breaks The Silence (3.48) Giving slight prominence to the lead guitar & synth.
9) A Blaze On The Hillside (5.40) Some nice screaming, but far too busy.
10) Lay Us Down (4.40) A love song of sorts, slower pace.
