Them Swoops / Glimmers Label: Plus 1 Noel T. Reviewed 2013-11-04 Good collection of indie pop. Band’s vocals remind me a little of Phoenix in the first track. They are an Australian duo group formed in 2012. So if you’re looking for an up and coming group with a have fun and enjoy life mentality evident in their songs, this is the band and album for you. 1.(3:44) Very catchy hook. Upbeat and really nice drumming and percussion work. 2.(2:34) Nice, upbeat tune. Includes some jazzy guitar work. Reminds me of a fun day at the beach. 3.(3:39) Weird background vocals. Synth lines throughout song. 4.(3:30) Remix version of the first song. Sounds almost like an 80’s tune. Remix gives it a real dancy feel to it. | ||
