Isis, Neurosis type dark/doomy/post-rock. Local band plays all instrumental guitar/bass/drums. Well recorded, written, played. See also big guitar bands of late 80’s, 90’s Chicago: Scratch Acid/Jesus Lizard, Big Black, Amphetamine Reptile label, not so much the songs but the sound. Look also to Neurot Records and/or the whole Isis lineage (Loga). Pretty sure they played WNL, at least I know I tried booking them. All tracks great.

1) ((8:07) lovely feedback intro, then big epic dark rock, guitar tapestries almost pretty, long kick ass, did I say epic?
2) (8:47) darker, foreboding, slower, more sparse, but slowly builds intensity w/ kick ass guitar work
3) (4:25) big driving concise rocker
4) (5:58) quiet, pretty, mellow
5) (7:01) slow wander, midway it kicks into a high gear and rocks out
