Kickass local noise with beats! Buzzing, lo-fi experimental technoise collaboration from prolific local artists Greg Garbage and Headboggle—by “techno-noise” I mean harsh, fuzzy timbres looped with minimal drum machine sounds, ominously grooving, dare-i-say-catchy? This is a one-time rehearsal they recorded before a live gig, feels spontaneous and carefree.
RIYL Merzbow + Nordvargr, maybe also Andy Stott or Suicide? but with way more oscillators
1. (11:26) bouncing, erratic syncopation over shrill industrial noise, processed drum beats soon dominate with dissonant synth bubbliness lurking not too far behind; cycles through sparse atmospheric passages and dirty nocturnal dance grooves.
2. (11:25) pretty much the same deal; it’s heavy, funky, abrasive yet whimsical. what more could you want?
