11 radio friendly ambient drone experimental tracks from KZSU faves. Treated guitar. No heavy distorto noise, instead balmy dreamy/nightmarish soundtracky sound collages. Lovely. All instrumental, most tracks end somewhat abruptly, as if they’ve been edited for radio. My only complaint is that they don’t live out an expected 20 minute glory (but that would be a 220 minute CD). Eno, Flying Saucer Attack, Fripp’s “evening star”.

1) (2:40) serene if dark drone
2) (4:01) organ tone with submerged lilting melodies, brighter
3) (6:48) creepier layers of guitar and drone ambience, pulsing, pensive
4) (5:21) fantastic layers of fuzziness, feedback, chiming overtones and subtle melodies, pretty
5) (4:52) dissonant guitar chords ring through, lovely spacey sustain
6) (8:44) very FSA this one, chiming rhythmic swallowed guitar, hypnotic
7) (4:23) the pulsing echoey effect is in full force here, cool
8) (5:05) quieter, spacey trippy pretty stuff, almost live recording quality
9) (5:44) subtle 3 note melody subliminally dominates, almost rock riffs
10) (5:22) orchestral quality, dramatic soundtracky with some serious twang guitar, Earth/Ennio Morricone
11) (6:39) echoey with drone, as it progresses dramatic strummed chords dominate, approaching a Swans thing, dark
