Ty Segall/Charlie Moonheart project live at the Eagle in SF at Ty's birthday party. Throbbing, distorted, loud, bluesy, stony, total Sabbath worship. Fuzzier than their studio debut that we recently had on the a-file. RIYL: Ty Segall Band, King Khan, classic rock *1 (3:44) Slow pummeler; loud bass, pounding drums, hugely distorted riffs, bluesy distorted vox/screams 2 (6:13) Heavy, wizard motif on lyrics in first 1:30 then all jam from there, great riffs 3 (3:38) Slow rhythm that's usually backing up bluesy vox or loud soloing *4 (7:55) FCC FUCK Mostly fast instrumental jam; loud intro and outro with wankery in the middle.
