Integrity formed in 1988 in Cleveland with only one constant band member (the singer), who has long since moved to Belgium.

This is a 7" re-issue (on A389 Recordings) of the sought-after Black Heksen sessions that were only available in Europe. Included in the mix is a cover from the japanese hardcore band Zouo. Clocking in at 11:27, this whole 7" is great.

1.) + + + (2:05) Cavernous ripping metallic hardcore. Somehow dissonant and melodic at the same time. Great!
2.) + + (3:59) Slow, even some moderately-undistorted parts. Midsection has lilting guitar melodies to knock you off balance. Almost Iron Maiden-esque guitar harmonies alongside those breathy hardcore vocals.
3.) + + (3:44) Cover of a Japanese hardcore band. Starts slow and melancholy, but moves into hardcore eventually.
4.) + + + (1:39) Dark Ambient / Neofolk with some scratchy vocals buried in the mix. IT'S A SHAME THIS IS SO SHORT! GREAT!
