Bennett Sullivan is a NYC-based banjoist, and this EP includes Rob Hecht on fiddle,
Ross Martin on guitar, and Pat Falco on bass. Jazzy-tinged bluegrass banjo reminiscent
of early Bela Fleck.
1 – (3:14) Honey Butter* Nice mid-tempo, lyrical, good guitar & fiddle
accompaniment, segues into track 2.
2 – (1:37) Howard’s Knob* Up-tempo continuation of track 1.
3 – (3:24) On The Davidson* Nicely done, fine fiddling & guitar work here.
4 – (3:39) The Hound Up-tempo, in a gypsy-style sound.
5 – (2:00) Si, Si, No, No* Fast barnburner breakdown, terrific.
6 – (2:53) Lady Nora* Very lovely solo banjo tune, charming.
