American proto-punk/power pop/pub rock/garage. awesomeow! unearthed recordings, '78-'81. a power pop missing link between American punk (proto-punk) and the 80's paisley underground. it was really hard picking 'Purr-Fect' tracks =every track kills. MR. ESQ. SEZ: MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOW. FCC WARNING: #3 =NIGGER. SOUNDS LIKE: DICTATORS, DAMNED, CHEAP TRICK, 20/20, SHOES, FASTBACKS, MOTORS, EDDIE AND THE HOT RODS, ZEROS, PLIMSOULS, ET AL. PLAY: ANY/ALL/RANDOMEOW/NOW HIT THE SCATCHIN' POST. 1. PURR-FECT II (TIE): fast, upbeat, bashy pop punk. Britty, pubby. breaking glass ending. 2. sounds like Eddie &The Hot Rods. 3. FCC WARNING: NIGGER (context: 'i'm the nigger white honkie jew all wrapped in one.' repeats.) piano -I like piano! menace.
