As Reviewed By Mister Esquire. mass meow-core. The Dum Dum Girls get more and more mainstream -ahh: the blanding! girl group revival, 50's/60's nostalgia, with 80's/90's nostalgia, but the shoegaze sheen no longer shines. i'm bummed meow. but still, there's some really great tracks. sounds much better if played in mono, or an approximation (one headphone.) MR. ESQ. SEZ: MEOW MEOW MEOW MEOV-(THAT'S HALF A 'W'.) FCC CLEAN. SOUNDS LIKE: SHIT. NO, I'M KIDDING. BUT SERIOUSLY, IT SOUNDS LIKE MASS MEOWCORE. PLAY: 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10. 1. 80's flashback. *2. 90'S flashback. *3. PURR-FECT: it's the hit! (and it's awesomeow!) 4. slowed, ballad. Pretenderey. *5. PURR-FECT II (TIE): 80's/90's britpop & shoegaze. *6. PURR-FECT II (TIE): bouncy pop. with a certain menace. 7. slowed ala The Jesus And Mary Chain. *8. mid-fast. oddly reminds me 'Disneyland' by The Eyes(Skulls? Bill, help e out here.) 9. SKIP.
