2012 LP release of scattered avant-garde jams from SF synth geek and Day of Noise 2014 performer Derek Gedalecia. A broad range of instrumentation shows his modern classical influences alongside screeching noise, free improv, and even some banjo plucking. It’s all great fun in a shamelessly playful, carefree mood. Songs are short and to the point, about as accessible as abstract music can get. All tracks great, no reason not to play this on continuous and wander further down the rabbit-hole. FCCs on 7

1. (1:48) epileptic satellite transmissions and jumbled, sweeping piano arpeggios over eerie industrial effects
2. (:40) brief banjo rambling over shrill synthesized bubbliness
3. (3:49) best with headphones, crazy stereo-panning drone and intergalactic frog incantations, laser beam oscillations
4. (1:07) sounds like a broken toy violin and a Japanese game-show theme song looped in reverse
5. (2:31) laser beams and lunar whalesong
6. (4:04) eerie nightmarish drone fades into calm and subdued static
7. (1:42) FCCs. field recordings, bleeping blooping sounds, voices that eventually say “stick it up your ass” and “shut the fuck up”
8. (1:10) trippy echoing laser beams
9. (3:09) sinister, warbling oscillations; the kind of music a deaf person might compose for a Star Wars video game
10. (7:38) insane outer space synth layering crescendos into full on laser warfare, FIRE PHOTON TORPEDOS
11. (1:18) clunky layering of bleeping blooping
12. (3:31) I’m getting lazy and you get the idea by now
13. (3:31) twinkling ragtime piano and soft static at first, but laser beams conclde
14. (1:20) drifting satellite blipping, see Juan Blanco
15. (3:19) swirls of piano, grating static
