PROGRESSIVE/EXPERIMENTAL JAZZ/BLUES/ROCK. Instrumentals. Interesting instrumentation, beautiful reverb, superb musicianship. Strange, though. Sometimes too frantic. RIYL The Bad Plus, Tin Hat Trio. The Deep Listening Band.

Disc 1:

1.** (3:33) Fast drums with odd sax and bass improv licks.
2.*** (3:55) Very slow, quiet, eerie beginning picks up speed a bit.
3.*** (6:19) Simple, funky bass line with intense, often uncomfortable drum and sax soloing over.
4.* (3:52) Almost has no beat. Very odd.
5.*** (3:04) Slow. Appropriate for conducting a movie-style heist at night. Screeching fade at end.
6.**** (5:07) Med. Immediate, tight, funky bass line. Prettiest Sax soloing here, in my opinion.
7.* (3:38) Faster. Very non-harmonic. Sounds like computer beeping, with frantic sax soloing over. Stresses me out.
8.*** (4:43) Also fast. Jazzy. Gets intense later.
9.* (7:17) Aimless, lost, frantic.
10.** (2:28) Med. Repetitive.

Disc 2:

1.* (4:20) Fast. Very screechy sax.
2.**** (3:11) Slow. Smooth. The song playing in C. Eastwood's head as he rides off after his latest kill.
3. (8:26) Super strange, no key or meter. I honestly can't stand it.
4.* (5:21) Fast. Annoying clicking sound.
5.** (4:05) Med. Very simple drums. Kinda fun.
6.* (4:23) Strange... sax is too screechy... again.
7.** (11:08) Interesting instrumentation. Instrument in the background sounds like a chainsaw and ruins the piece for me.
8.** (2:54) Slow. Feels like I'm in the Twilight Zone now. Gets frantic.
9.**** (6:01) Fast, fun, funky beat. Doesn't go very far, though. Just speeds up towards the end. Lame end.
