Debut from Nashville native playing R’n’R w/ slight country / folky / psychedelic vibes. No connection to Elton John’s Bennie And The Jets as far as I can tell. Standard instrumentation w/ lyrics about life w/ drugs and r’n’r and love. For fans of Rolling Stones, country-folk. Some good stuff here. FCC’s #7, 10.

*My Favorites*: 2, 5, 6, 8, 9.

1. (3:43) Mid. Upbeat, jangly, back vcls.
2. *(3:33) Mid. Rockin’ , kinda mid-late Stones vibe.
3. (3:08) Mid. Drivin’, back vcls, tambourine.
4. (4:29) Slow. Retro ’50’s ballad.
5. *(2:47) Mid. Country folk w/ psychedelic flair. Love-gone-bad.
6. *(3:39) Slow / Mid. Slight early Stones vibe, about being ‘hooked’.
7. (3:21) Mid. FCC ‘shit’. Easy r’n’r.
8. *(2:26) Mid. Country-psychedelic-folk about drug takin’.
9. *(2:39) Slow / Mid. Mellow, acoustic gtr, piano.
10. (2:23) FCC ‘fucked-up’. Back porch folk.
