Genre: DRUMS DRUMS DRUMS DRUMS

Pulsating, otherworldly drum epics from Kid Millions and So Percussion. Both songs have the structure and feel of experimental ambient tracks but with more drums than you've ever heard in your life. If you've ever craved a beat that goes beyond the 4/4 archetype or liked something a music journalist has labelled as "tribal" then you'll find a lot to love within this 30 minute mini-album. It's going to take something special to keep me from listening to this and Swans on repeat for the rest of the year.

Others: Liars "Drum's Not Dead", Foot Village, Kid Millions, My Disco

1. (11:42) Fast paced. Distant male vox come in around 2:30 but act more as atmosphere than actual vocals. I feel like I'm in a drum waterfall.
2. (18:01) Starts with tom heavy drumming that feels like everyone is in a different time signature (in an awesome way) before transitioning into drone midway through. Emerges from the ambience with even more intensity and a return of the group vocals. Super cool hypnotic journey of a track.
