The solo project of Marc O’Callaghan: This recording is a splendid experimental journey, producing deeply dark, disturbing moments. Perfect balance between the droney & moaney. A quality release. Hard to see this being played out loud on Las Ramblas – But it should be played on KZSU…All tracks are slow to mid tempo, with the energy making it sound much more violent.
Like: DiJ, Clair Obscur, Virgin Prunes, Laibach, Coil (early 80’s references –but now I have something contemporary to judge other releases of this kind by)
All tracks sung in Catalan? Play them all:

Maybe an FCC on 7* pretty sure this is the only word in English - The rest seem OK

1) Una Mosca Volaba Per La Llum (4.48) Spoken word at first leads straight into a harsh synth slow paced onslaught. Accompanying vocals are just as severe. Lighter touch with the singing during the last minute adds to this master class.
2) La Seng, I’ Exces, Les Flors (7.18) Barking dogs lead the way into this gloriously repetitive opening salvo – Broken up by the unforgiving synths & vocals.
3) Astrofagia (5.49) Pulsating beat combined with passion & urgency behind the voice.
4) La Ma De La Benediccio (4.51) …Put the dog down, Damien…
5) Purgatori (3.46) Strong vocals over an unnerving sound - The squealing hogs add to this nightmare.
6) Temple Tel-Luric (5.29) More up beat – You can even nod your head along at times. Not as strong as the others. Sounds like crickets & frogs to finish…
7) *Les Portes De L’Infinit (5.16) Jangling chains add to this slow growling beast. Some quality echo & screamy elements. In English “Fuck”?
8) La Ma De La Justicia (4.52) Steady heart beats mixed in with erratic synths.
