Soulful piano-led big band. Wonderful performances, tight arrangements and great playing. The band has wonderful chemistry and Evans’ compositions are engaging and nicely unpredictable. A great soul/blues touch to their performances adds extra style.

*1. Delicious downtempo stomp w/great work from the band.
*2. Dramatic solo piano intro to driving, upbeat jam. Yay!
3. Tripping, trilling, quirky. Varying tempos & textures.
4. Slow and lyrical with lots of silence adding drama.
*5. Fast & fiery crazy energy and wild horn work.
*6. Sophisticated piano/perc intro then the horns heat up.
*7. Mid/upbeat w/a quirky bounce and tight playing. Fun.
8. Down/midtempo w/ a sweeping air & piano accents.
9. Mid/upbeat w/a tight, sophisticated groove.
